BBS GmbH, established in 2004 in Freiberg am Neckar, was formed by merging BAY Wärmetechnik GmbH and Bay Engineering und Consulting. The company manufactures industrial boiler systems and supplies engineering expertise for modern energy and environmental technology, drawing on more than 60 years of experience in industrial heating. Its scope covers three product groups: steam boilers, high-temperature boilers and thermal oil boilers. Additional lines include waste heat steam boilers, clean steam generators, hot water boilers, electric thermal oil boilers, marine boilers and biomass furnaces. The firm pioneered rapid steam generators in the German market and built its first thermal oil boilers in 1962. Custom boilers and apparatus are developed for the cosmetics, chemical, petrochemical and foodstuffs industries.
