Böhmer Zerspanungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, based in Witten, Germany, has supplied wheels and pulleys since 1920 to crane construction, port operators, the metallurgical industry, the brick and ceramic industry, and ship and plant construction. The range spans small wheel sets with diameters of Ø 250 mm for transport carts and shifting platforms up to crane wheels of 1,600 mm. Pulleys come in welded lightweight designs and cast heavy metallurgical versions with diameters from 200 to 2,000 mm. Products are based on steel castings or forged blanks from German partners. An in-house design department of engineers, technicians, and technical product designers tests and optimizes each product according to DIN or TGL standards and customer specifications.
