ASAB GmbH

ASAB GmbH is an Augsburg-based mechanical engineering, plant and apparatus construction firm founded in 1994 through a management buy-out from Pfister Waagen Augsburg. It began apparatus and container fabrication with 11 staff on a 2,500 m² site and has since grown to 30 employees, moving in 2005 to a new facility with 3,600 m² of production and 400 m² of office space on Ostrachstraße. The company builds custom components in steel, stainless steel, aluminium and special materials, including pressure vessels to 2014-68-EU, storage containers and tanks to WHG, plant components and vacuum technology. Welding covers oxy-fuel cutting up to 300 mm in steel, stick electrode, MIG/MAG and TIG processes, processing construction steels S 235 and S 355, stainless grades 1.4031 to 1.4579, Hastelloy, aluminium and Cu-Ni alloys.
