Aluminiumwerk Unna AG, founded in 1914 and headquartered in Unna, Germany, is a medium-sized metal industry producer focused on aluminum tubes, particularly seamless types. The company processes medium- and heavy-pressable aluminum alloys to customer order and also manufactures small profiles for radiator construction. Its integrated tube manufacturing chain runs from casting specially composed alloys through extrusion and tube drawing to mechanical surface finishing. Six extrusion presses operate at the Unna site, five fitted with mandrel devices, enabling tube diameters from 4.76 mm to 350 mm. Subsequent drawing improves tolerances, reduces wall thickness or raises strength, and final heat treatment adjusts application properties.
