It represents over 300 farmers raising native goats, mainly of the Málaga breed. The cooperative operates a goat dairy processing facility in Colmenar, Malaga, described as the largest of its kind in Andalusia. Its output includes fresh, semi-cured and cured cheeses sold under the Quesos Montes de Málaga and Quesos El Pinsapo brands, made from 100% natural milk without additives. The cheeses have received more than 80 national and international awards, including recognition at the World Cheese Awards. Sustainable grazing practices are promoted.
